Express Your Soul

The Costa Dulce Yoga Shala has a breathtaking backdrop of greenery, beach, and ocean. The outdoor studio fits 25 people and is equipped with Manduka mats, local handmade wooden blocks, and dowels, bolsters and straps. The studio is also equipped with a speaker, lights, and fans.

Discover & Play

Play in the ocean, which is just steps away from your beach bungalow. Try a new activity with the help of a local guide like stand-up paddleboarding or surfing. Hang out and play a board game in our ocean-view Casa Ola lounge. Enjoy surf theory class, beach bonfires, salsa lessons, fishing/boat tours, waterfall and jungle hikes, and horseback riding.

Relax & Lay Back

Costa Dulce Spa is an outdoor style spa situated in the jungle near the sounds of the ocean. The rooms are made with bamboo and screening providing the outdoor feeling yet keeping the bugs off. Our professional massage & beauty therapists offer private and couple’s massages and many beauty treatments.

Nourish Your Body

Dulce Cocina prepares four healthy homestyle meals daily which includes pre-breakfast consisting of fresh fruit and housemade granola, a full breakfast buffet served with fresh fruit smoothies, lunch service with fresh-squeezed juices, and dinner service with dessert. We take your allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. All food is fresh and bought locally.

Costa Dulce retreat center is located remotely at Playa Escameca Grande on the Pacific Ocean.

Surrounded by lush jungle, protected nature reserves, ocean, as well as a freshwater river, abundant amounts of wildlife share this exquisite location. You’ll get the chance to see a variety of insects and bug life that come with the jungle, as well as howler monkeys, geckos, frogs/toads, a vast variety of birds, ocean life, and more. Our remote location makes this eco-retreat centre a desirable location for retreat leaders and guests to visit from all over the world.

While most of our private groups are yoga retreats, we have also hosted surf groups, private groups of friends and family for celebrtions, and even private corporate retreats with young entrepreneurs. We believe the unique beauty of the nature that surrounds us has something to offer everyone, especially those looking for a space to heal and transform.

Facilities available to your group includes three ocean-view shalas, daily fresh farm-to-table cuisine, a jungle spa with several natural beauty treatments, and a broad number of activities to provide your guests with the best possible experience.

Large Retreat at Costa Dulce

Create your exclusive retreat by reserving all or some of our cabins for a seven-night – eight-day experience and share inspiration and adventure with your group.

Accommodation:
- 3 economy rooms with shared bathrooms and a shared deck; or
- 14 cabins, each with private bathrooms, private decks, and most with ocean views.
- Spaces vary in size, with 1-4 beds per room (total of 37 beds available).

Petite Retreat at Casa Horizon

Casa Horizon is just steps from the main Costa Dulce area but feels private and intimate, perfect for smaller retreats. Offers a secluded space while allowing interaction with the larger community if desired.

Main house:
- 4 rooms
- Additional oceanfront villa that can be integrated into the retreat space.

- Medium-sized shala (fits 16 mats)

- Large common area/lounge

- Access to main Costa Dulce retreat center common areas

Partner Program

Costa Dulce is proud to offer a partner program to qualified yoga teachers and workshop leaders from around the world. The goal is to connect with link minded others that fit with our community and have the desire to keep coming back over the years.

We have developed a partner system that allows us to use joint resources to ensure we have a full and successful retreat and a win/win situation as partners.

The policies are set up in order to minimize the risk for the teacher and for Costa Dulce.

The Yoga Shalas

Our main Yoga shala is located directly above our dining area with an absolutely stunning view.
It is fully equipped with quality Manduka mats, wooden blocks and dowels, and straps.
Our secondary yoga shala/ lookout, and favorite meditation spot, is a short walk away positioned on a cliff overlooking the ocean.

Enjoy the stunning views, take a deep breath, and connect with yourself and your beautiful surroundings. Our team of professional yoga teachers off yoga twice a day.

Costa Dulce is a magical place. 8 of us were there for a yoga/fitness/surf retreat and we felt like we were part of the community. The food is amazing, the staff are awesome, the accommodations are lovely, comfortable and clean. We were wanting for nothing. Surfing at the beach is for all levels with more advanced break a walk away. I didn’t want to leave and can’t say enough wonderful things about Costa Dulce. The mission and values focus on the local community and giving back is by far one of the strongest and most prevalent I’ve seen.

Costa Dulce is hands down the best retreat center I’ve worked with. I co-hosted a two-week yoga teacher training and simultaneously ran two yoga retreats. Not only did everyone leave with that sort of beach-dream bliss, but we all left with a sense that we were part of the Costa Dulce family.
