SEA TURTLE TALK WITH TIM, VITAL ACTIONS FOUNDER

MONDAYS @ 4 PM

Meet the founder of Vital Actions, the non-profit organization that manages the sea turtle conservation efforts here on Playa Escameca, as well as the Collado Reserve, a reforestation and wildlife protection effort.

JUNGLE WALK - THE COLLADO NATURE RESERVE

TUESDAYS @ 10 AM

Collado is our neighboring community village in a tropical dry forest, home to wildlife like sloths, monkeys, birds, and more. Our local guide takes you on a walk through the reforestation project managed by Vital Actions.

NICA NATURALS TOUR

TUESDAYS @ 2 PM

Discover our story, philosophy, and the journey of Costa Dulce as a cornerstone of the local community and economy. Learn about our cooperative network of like-minded businesses, including Nica Naturals, where we create a wide range of natural products, from spa essentials and healthy foods to eco-friendly cleaning solutions, bug repellents, and sunscreens.

LIVE MUSIC WITH X-TRANOS

TUESDAYS @ 7 PM

Local favorites, X-Tranos, join us every Tuesday for happy hour after dinner at the bar. Enjoy a variety of familiar favorites and new songs as you dance into the evening.

SAN JUAN DEL SUR TOWN TRIP

WEDNESDAY @ 2 PM

Explore the tourist hub of San Juan del Sur by wandering the streets for souvenirs or stopping for a drink at one of the local bars along the water. Before making your way back to Costa Dulce for dinner, drive up to the Jesus statue for an expansive view of this surf town and the bay.

INTRO TO CACAO

Cacao is a modern trend with deep roots in historical societies that lived throughout Central America. Take this opportunity while you’re in the Cacao Belt of the world to learn more about this its origins, traditions, and benefits. Includes a taste of cacao and guided meditation.

TEMAZCAL INSPRED SWEAT LODGE

THURSDAYS @ 4 PM

Another modern trend with deep indigenous roots, heat therapy can be found around the world. Ours is fashioned after Temazcal traditions that originated in Mexico and spread through MesoAmerica. Enjoy a 30-45 minute sweat session to detox the body.

SALSA NIGHT

FRIDAYS @ 7 PM

Our local dance experts will breakdown the salsa steps into accessible chunks. By the end of the night you’ll be shaking and shasying across the dance floor with ease.

BEACH BONFIRE

FRIDAYS @ 8 PM

After you dance through Salsa Night, head down to the beach to finish the week star gazing over a beach bonfire. With very little light pollution, the night sky is stunning.

OUTDOOR SAUNA W/ STUNNING VIEW

Begin your day with a rejuvenating steam sauna session, featuring a stunning ocean view through a large window. This experience is further enhanced with organic oils like lavender, mint, and lemongrass, further nourishing your senses, and followed by an invigorating cold plunge.
